Someone should rethink the course structure and employment counselors at colleges to encourage and work with students in building interdisciplinary degrees better suited to the hyper-specialized job market. Very rarely does an undergraduate degree translate well to a career path anymore.

I wonder what the true perception of merit pay measures is in teachers' minds. Does it convey a sense of distrust on behalf of policymakers, a measure to satisfy teachers' unions, or instead is it perceived as possibly useful tool to improve "teaching" writ large.

About Me

I am a research/communications specialist with hill experience seeking employment opportunities in the education sector. I want, more than anything, to have an outlet through which I can help families across America ensure their children are receiving the best education possible.
