The internet can provide supplementary, or even primary, education for a fraction of the cost of a college or university. We should all take advantage of the wealth of knowledge literally at our fingertips.

So much of the time, higher-thinking organisms like professors don't realize that what they are "teaching" isn't getting through because they can't translate their own advanced thoughts into something more palatable for their students. Teachers in general need to find ways to break down the advanced ideas and principles into bite-sized pieces in order to get through to those they teach. Only then will the students be able to grasp the large concepts and move forward.

We never really own anything. Things can be taken away from us or we can lose them. People can leave as well. In a country where the biggest and the best is supposedly everything, I'd rather rent my world. I'd rather use what I need when I need it, and have that be a rental, than to buy a piece of equipment, or whatever it may be, and have it sit in my over-sized storage unit for 364 days out of the year.
