About Me

I am a Lighting Practitioner, Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP). I currently do not have a job, nor do I have work for my company = not working! Send me some work!

I have a passion for lighting but with a conscience to use as little lighting, and thereby energy, in illuminating tasks. I believe in using as much natural lighting as possible in building design and prefer to emulate natural lighting techniques in design as much as possible. Sometimes, the best lighting is NO LIGHTING!

I've been working in design for Electrical Construction for more than 20 years. I know how to make things work and how to assemble electrical designs to use the fewest parts and lowest costs without compromising integrity of the design.

I have worked on nearly every type of building construction (commercial, residential, medical, government, etc.) and am very experienced in using AutoCad to demonstrate my designs. I have been working almost completely paperless for several years and am constantly reviewing the Net for new sustainable products and methods.

I was born and raised in New Hampshire - moved to Florida six years ago after both of my parents died, three days apart. Love the weather in Florida, but the lack of jobs is a bummer!
