About Me

I am currently seeking a new position in social media marketing, communications and public relations with a small organization, preferably in the sports industry.

I founded Sportsin140.com, a blog that covers athletes and the sports industry on Twitter and other social media sites, in March, 2009. The site has since been featured on ESPN and New England Cable News, in newspapers like the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and Toronto Globe and Mail and on Sports Illustrated's website.

I also have four years of experience in public and media relations in professional sports, specifically Minor League Baseball. I was Public Relations Coordinator and Assistant Broadcaster with Ripken Baseball's Aberdeen IronBirds (Aberdeen, MD) from 2006-2007. I also worked for the Sanford Mainers (Sanford, ME) of the New England Collegiate League and the Vermont Expos (Burlington, VT) of the New York-Penn League.
