Work History

• Seventeen years of music industry experience as owner of a booking/management company; Film financing consultation; Represented in Europe by The UK Trade & Investment division of the British Embassy. Finalist Screenplay Jury Chair 2006 Cinequest International Film Festival in Silicon Valley; Juror and Jury Host for the NEMA-National Educational Media Association's documentary division.

• I founded Bookmark Publications, Inc. in Los Altos, CA in 1988 to create bilingual math and science supplemental materials for Indochinese students through avant guard teaching methods using music and art. From this project my company was invited to become a part of former President George H.W. Bush's "Imagination Team" for education during his administration.

• In 1993 I launched Bookmark Productions of Los Altos, representing Internationally known as well as local Bay Area artists for domestic bookings and co-Produced as well as supplied performers for major music and sporting events internationally. A partial list of clients include: The Jewish Bulletin of San Francisco, City of San Ramon's Art & Wind Festival, City of San Jose (30th Anniversary of Earth Day 2000), The Contemporary Museum of Art in San Jose (Arts Alive Series and Winter Jazz Series), USA Fundraiser for The first African Hall of Fame for Film and Music (1999 Johannesburg, South Africa), Mi Familia of Quito, Ecuador/Palo Alto, The Marriott Bridges Foundation (LA/DC), World Cup 1994 Palo Alto, The Palo Alto Centennial, Cinequest International Film Festival, The Carl Lewis International Track and Field Competition, and many more.
