About Me
Motivated, experienced freelance graphic designer, writer, editor and social media enthusiast with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines. Diverse background, ability to work well independently and as part of a creative team.
I particularly love working with churches and Christian ministries and organizations, many of whom do not have the resources to staff a full-services communications department. My vision is to use my God-given passion and gift for writing and design to help them accomplish their mission and establish a strong presence in the community.
I’m involved with Memphis Social Media Expedition, a group that explores social media and its applications in all areas of life, from public relations and online marketing to lifestreaming, photosharing and social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn. As the unique relational needs of churches, ministries, charities and other nonprofits make these organizations particularly well-suited to social media, I plan to increase my focus in this area in 2009.
