1I think that Aptitude Tests and Career Assessments can be great but often end up being ineffective. I think that they are highly misunderstood. A big problem is that most of us take them as a way to procrastinate and avoid actually trying something out. This is a known issue that Penelope has addressed on several occasions. A bigger and more overlooked problem, I think, is that many of these assessments ask you about how you perceive yourself rather than genuinely testing you.
