Lauren Shanks What is everyone watching right now? My husband and I looked at theatre listings last weekend and couldn't come up with one thing we both wanted to see. This time five years ago, I feel like we were at the movies almost every weekend. Are movies getting worse?

I've seen it twice and while it appears to be a normal horse story it's about Penny Chenery and how Secretariat almost didn't become the Triple Crown winner. The movie will put people on the edge of their seats before the races even though you eventually realize you now the outcome of each race and the photography of the races puts you on the horse's backs and on the track. I'm a horse person, so that may be more appealing to me. It's done very well, and I understand Diane Lane is up for possible Oscar. The other ones I'm interested in are Red, Harry Potter (sorry to hear it's a bomb), The Fighter with Christian Bale and Matt Damon, and Disney's Tangled.

Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Tudors, Mad Men, 30 Rock, LOST - the list goes on. If you can't find engaging entertainment at the theater, drop by Netflix :)

Barbara Healy Funny you talked about not looking people in the eyes, some of the best advise I ever got (workshop at Tai in NYC) was to look one person per thought in the eyes and then move to someone else. But you need to give a full thought. It is very engaging for the audience. Takes practice!

I visited Costa Rica for the first time 7 months ago. It was a spur of the moment trip,
And I knew nothing about the country. When I landed I had no hotel reservation (I didn't
Even know the name of one) and everyone thought I was nuts!! It was the best trip of
My life!!! An absolute must is El Parke National in Manuel Antonio. I happened to find myself
inexpensive, wonderful and comfy acommadations at Tico Lodge- just steps from the National Park. They were the most friendly & helpful people ever! There was plenty to do including walking through the rain forest, relaxing on beautiful secluded beaches, playing with monkeys ( so fun!!) while taking a ton of pixx, rafting, canopy tours(absolute must!!) horseback riding, surfing, shopping and even nightlife all within walking distance from the lodge!! As a single girl
Taking her first trip alone in a new country I felt absolutely blessed! If you do decide to stay at
Tico Lodge tell them Jacqueline sent you! Congrats- you will absolutely love it! Ps- don't forget to stop at Montezuma and check out the hotsprings!!

Brittany Thompson Trying to plan my next trip, and looking at a working holiday in either Australia/NZ or Costa Rica. I stand a better chance of getting a job teaching English in San Jose (have a connection through a friend) but I have ALWAYS wanted to spend time in Australia for a bit. Would be interested in hearing about either place, as I've still got plenty of time to decide!

The Eco-lodge Ed suggested (http://www.ecocamp.travel) looked great and comfortable, though, and we considered staying there an extra night.

Feel free to send me a message if you have more questions! And have a great time: the park and landscape are really breathtaking.

Carrie Clark I'm a Gen Y and really just loved the name of this group. Lol. Although I'm feel that I feel I can relate better to Boomers than GenX

Tom Guarriello: Just came to me in an inspirational flash! Felt like the right tone for us here. I hear lots of X/Y comm problems. Not uncommon.

Barbara Healy: Carrie, that's probably because we have more in common when it comes to our values. Our values are developed during our adolesence..

Ryan Healy What's the most common career question you guys get from new college grads?

128 weeks ago from Ask A Coach

Regina Twine: @Sarah Beckley What do you mean reset? I feel like I'm so far behind my peers since I'm not even close to working in my field & I'm worried

Sarah Beckley: @Regina Reset means dial back expectations to match reality. Dream big, but understand what can realistically be achieved in a year or 5.

Nathan Snell Debating whether to see District 9 or Inglorious Bastards. Thoughts?

128 weeks ago from Movie Critics

Leigh K.: Inglourious Basterds is a bit long, but pretty great--classic QT. seeing District 9 this weekend, and looking forward to it...

Justin Gardner: I've seen both. District 9 makes you think. Inglourious Basterds makes you laugh. If you're looking for a more satisfying film it's D9.
