I'm location independant, have just published my first article for Travel and Leisure magazine: http://www.nearandfar.wordpress.com and would like to know if there are other location dependant people (more seasoned than I) about what makes you move to another location even if things seem to be going well right where you are? It's really about a leap of faith. Thoughts?

The desire not to wonder "what if?" but to know that you gave something a shot. When we left San Francisco in 2001 to move to Prague without jobs, everyone thought we were crazy - why leave a good thing? Although San Francisco was fantastic and I still love that city, we didn't want years to go by and wonder what could have happened. The same goes for choosing cities to be location independent. We're currently in Prague (where we lived before for 5 years) and it's comfortable, but are shortly going to Berlin for several months because it's new for us and we're curious. 93 weeks ago

I lived in Paris for many years and Gothenburg as well but I would love to live in Italy, have an Italian experience as a photographer and writer, etc. I owe it to myself. 93 weeks ago

What would be the most exotic and coolest place from which work? My choice would be Ushuaia, Argentina http://bit.ly/4O1IDV one of my favorite places in the whole world. Any other cool places?

@wilson- Those are the two places we are considering as well! I thought your recommendation was for Argentina. All three are on our list of "possible" future homes. 112 weeks ago
