I am currently seeking a social service/non-profit position which helps develop my case management, community outreach and grant monitoring/data management experience in the San Antonio area. If you know of anything let me know!

I am also a part-time Master of Social Work student at the University of Southern California (USC) Virtual Academic Center (VAC).

Case management. Paperwork, home visits, court hearings, ARD meetings, doctors appointments. Generally just making sure kids are safe, healthy (mentally and physically) and making their way through permanency.

ACORN Housing
Grant Coordinator

Responsible for the maintenance and implementation of Quality Control standards in Texas and California. Implemented several operational reporting methods to ensure case quality, completeness, and progress. Acted as a liaison between ACORN and ACORN Housing to communicate the results of these reports.

Coordinate foreclosure prevention outreach throughout the community through workshops, intakes and phone calls. Maintained relationship with city organizations that would benefit from an ACORN relationship, such as, school districts, media outlets, churches, and neighborhood associations. Created Excel databases of referrals and statuses of cases. Worked to get low income families in to vocational education classes as stipulated by the Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency (ROSS) Grant Program. Worked on campaign for guaranteed, quality affordable healthcare.
