About Me

Although I do maintain a blog at http://www.danceproof.com that can be described as "Thought Provoking Views On Self," what consumes the large majority of my time is my work at NORTHBUCK Entertainment LLC.

NORTHBUCK is an entertainment company whose sole mission is to spread the positive message of krump (a dance style that was created in LA as a solution to the violence in high risk neighborhoods). NORTHBUCK mainly operates in Canada but is gradually expanding outside of the country to other areas such as America and the United Kingdom.

NORTHBUCK has been featured at the Harbourfront Center, Toronto Arts Center, Air Canada Center, and recently at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics!!!

One of the best aspects of NORTHBUCK is the "Krumping Out Crime" program that was created as an after school activity in order to provide a place for at risk youths (who have very little in life) where they can receive dance lessons for free from acclaimed dance instructors, receive free food, provide an escape from the harsh streets and broken homes, meet like minded youths (build a sense of family), and eventually (when they become good enough) provide a way for them to earn a living from dancing if they so choose.

The program started in 2009 by being implemented in one school, and has grown to five schools by 2010 (and it's not stopping). It's backed by The Toronto City Police and was recently picked up by the 4Life Foundation.

From the moment NORTHBUCK was started it was greeted with an amazingly supportive crowd, and as the company grows the fans keep on coming.
