Cary Thomson I work for a large university (U of BC). While I love my job I do find that UBC's bureaucratic and unchanging nature can grate on my nerves. Example: I don't need to provide transcripts for a distance ed course but do for the campus based version. I was wondering if it would be any different at a smaller institution. So has anyone who worked/studied at a small institution have any insights to offer? Are they any less bureaucratic and easier for a not bound by the rules kinda gal to work for?
