About Me

Seven years of library related experience in higher education with a strong focus on service. Expertise in testing and implementing new technologies in innovative ways to solve problems. Led several libraries in introducing successful technological initiatives that directly benefited ease of access and customer service. A diplomatic collaborator who truly values building relationships and connecting people.

  • • Assisted in the design and teaching of dozens of information literacy instruction sessions.
    • Implemented significant design changes to the library website to enhance usability.
    • Created several online video tutorials to support faculty, librarians and distance education students.
    • Served on the college's Academic Technology Task Force which made suggestions for which technologies the college should be using to further their goals.
    • Organized a staff/faculty "chili cookoff" to increase the visibility of the library and build social capital.
    • Trained faculty and staff in the use of emerging technologies such as wikis, blogs, and RSS.
    • Delivered outstanding reference service both virtually and in person.
