Andrew Lander I'm trying to optimize my (for profit) company's social media presence across Facebook and Twitter. Does anyone know which social media dashboard is best? I preferably need something that can give me solid analytics along with the standard ability to update accounts and pages. I'm leaning towards Hootsuite. but any other thoughts would be helpful.

Erika Kerekes: A colleague recommended Argyle Social - I haven't used it myself but it's on my try-it list.

Jonha D. Revesencio: Thank you for the suggestions Maggie! I don't really like Hootsuite a lot so I'm gonna try how your two suggestions might work for me. :-)

BY also offers free demos @ http://brand-yourself.com/features/business.

Hope this helps, I'm a huge fan of their product.

Best,

I can't speak for its analytics since I haven't dabbled at all, but I love its functionality because I can set up different tabs with multiple streams. And I also use Hootsuite for my iPhone because I can schedule tweets on there as well.

Stephanie Chaptal Dugué What do you think of tools mixing all networks status, as the one which turns your tweets automatically in your Facebook status ?

Trace Cohen: I like to keep them separate and do them manually so that it is more personal.

I sometimes hate to see RT'd messages on Facebook or #[insert trending topic here] because it's a totally different medium and it doesn't apply. If you do use this method, be sure to log into both from time to time to have a more personal touch (in my opinion).

Cindy Wang how do you feel about organic food? is the cost/benefit worth it? Have you "gone organic" or are you a diehard non-organic foodie?

138 weeks ago from International Foodies

Andrew Lander: I'm definitely not "diehard" about it. It's nice to eat organic foods but just so long as it's healthy I'm ok with it. Organic is a plus

Most people want things pronto, and most people do not have access to organic food. I personally, take the time out to read and research what I put in my body. I'm not a diehard organic foodie, but it's 50% in my household.

Andrew Lander I wonder how many social media startups put just as much focus on the real world community building/managing as they do with coding?

Jay Neely: I'd think Yelp is a fantastic example of a startup that does this. Check out this article on their efforts: MoreI'd think Yelp is a fantastic example of a startup that does this. Check out this article on their efforts: http://bit.ly/EJUeZ

Andrew Lander: I'd say the same thing goes for Foursqaure. The trick is fostering group participation in incentives without alienating the community.

Andrew Lander I work for a non-profit that offers a social networking site for our youth program. The trick is getting them to actively provide content :P

Vanessa Alvarado: Sounds like a positive position. So you created a social network and the kids don't want to touch it?
