I grew up on a small farm by a small town in Nebraska. I went to school at Luther College in Iowa where I fell in love with culture and travel during J-term trips. Where I was able to live for a week in the African bush to take a small boat down the Amazon. I love to travel and meet new people. I hate touristy things and love to eat and see where the "locals" do things also. I could spend hours looking at museums. If I could I would just live by people watching I would.
Now I'm living in Bulgaria as a Youth Development Peace Corps Volunteer, where I work on many things from English, sport and Archaeology camps. My days are never the same. I also try to teach my kids about the "good" American and destroy all MTV's knowledge.
I'm new to bloging and loving it so far. I have a Peace Corps blog http://whereowhereisaek.blogspot.com/ and then my hopefully more professional blog Walnut Anthropology. This past November I wrote a NaNoWriMo novel and now working on it still.
I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer working in a small town doing Youth Development work at a Kindergarten and Orphanage. All my days are different I work on English, Computers, arts, sports. Last summer I lead an Archaeology camp for 20 kids for a week.
