Andrea Baxter is a seasoned marketing professional based in Vancouver, B.C. with experience in all facets of branding, business strategy and marketing execution. Andrea’s experience includes work for corporate, start-up, financial services, legal, food & wine, media companies and agencies. In 2009, she started up her own consultancy firm, Bratface Marketing, which is a boutique marketing firm that thrives on creativity, culture and proven results. Although Andrea has worked with a variety of businesses, various sizes and industries, her passion and specialties are franchise organizations, start ups and mid-sized companies.
Andrea Baxter is also the co-founder of Smart Cookies, which was founded in early 2007. The Smart Cookies have gone on to publish 2 best selling books (Random House), hosted their own TV show on the W Network, launched a successful subscriber based website and much more. Additionally, Andrea is a frequent contributor on Shaw’s Urban Rush, City TV’s Breakfast Television, including additional columns & blogs such as, Design Sponge, Tonic.com, Globe & Mail and Metro News. Andrea is also part of three nationwide organizations, including The National Speakers Bureau (NSB), the BCAMA, The Forum For Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) and a committee member for The League of Kickass Business People, where she contributes her time planning community and networking events. Andrea was most recently the Director of Strategic Marketing with Blast Radius in Vancouver, BC. Prior to this, Andrea was the Sr. Commercial Marketing Manager at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? for four years, where she was responsible for all branded commercial marketing launches for the companies commercial business. Her responsibilities included marketing strategy, creative, interactive, brand and loyalty management, CRM, and trade shows.
