About Me

I manage day-to-day operations for The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), setting direction for and collaborating with a dynamic team of people who each bring a unique skill set to mix. It isn't as much a job but a major part of my life and who I am.

I joined NSCS after finishing graduate school at The George Washington University in 2003. I believed my calling was to develop programs that in turn developed college students by providing learning opportunities outside of the classroom. However, I learned quickly that while I am passionate about that process, my true abilities centered on the management of organizations that create these kinds of programs. I feel lucky to be in a place where I am motivated by both a mission and the kind of work I get to do each day. It's fun, and fulfilling.
