About Me
I am the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. In this position, I implement training and professional development programs for faculty and staff. I direct the Distance Education efforts of Texas Wesleyan, as the Co-chair of the Distance Education committee. I am also the campus administrator for Blackboard.
I specialize in Web 2.0 research, focusing on the use of wikis in higher education and in public relations. I also have extensive experience with ePortfolio programs, Second Life, Twitter, and other technology-based instructional tools.
I received my doctorate in Family Studies, writing my dissertation on my qualitative study of the repatriation narratives of Missionary Kids.
