You will want to communicate not only what you are looking for in a candidate (KSAs, work experienced, educational creds), but also communicate enough about your company to attract people who will be well suited to the team / work environment present there. Of course, as noted by Amy and Michel, there are a number of web resources available on this topic as well. It will also be important to keep in mind the company's policies, as well as any applicable laws or labor agreements affecting how certain positions are advertised.
