About Me

Allison Nicholas serves as Team Leader of College Recruiting and University Relations for Acxiom Corporation, the global leader in interactive marketing services.Acxiom provides deep consumer insight to connect clients with their customers for profitable business relationships. Acxiom incorporates decades of experience in consumer data and analytics, information technology, data integration, and consulting solutions for marketing across digital, Internet, email, mobile and direct mail channels. Since joining the company, Nicholas has focused on expanding Acxiom’s college recruiting initiative nationwide and serving as a liaison between the company and institutions of higher and secondary education.

Nicholas served as Manager of College Relations at ALLTEL Corporation. Nicholas, who was hired by ALLTEL to create a nationwide college recruiting and internship program, designed and coordinated all aspects of the college recruiting process including campus selection, campus outreach, as well as the development and recruiting activities.

Nicholas served as Director of Career Development at Hendrix College. She served as administrator of a full-service, centralized career development center. Nicholas worked collaboratively with all divisions of the college to address student recruitment, retention, and matriculation issues. She served as a primary career counselor for students and alumni, and provided career counseling and assessment on an individual and group basis. Nicholas also worked with faculty and staff to address the personal counseling needs of the students.

Nicholas has served in a number of leadership roles at the national, state and local level with such organizations as the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Southwest Association of Colleges and Employers, and the Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers.
