After growing up in Milan, OH, a very small town, I decided to attend Miami University. This was the same university my dad graduated from and my sister was currently attending. After some reservations about my choice, I realized that was the best decision for me. I was further from home than any of my friends, but quickly found out that was okay. I had four great years there and met some great people there as well as through friends at other universities. After college, I made the big decision to move even farther from my family... in a city and out of state. I am now teaching in Louisville. While this has proven to be a challenge at times, that is something I always wanted in my career. I have met several great people down here (surprisingly most went to Miami as well) and look forward to all the adventures to come.
