My name is Alexa, I'm 23 and I live in Michigan. I know things here can be a pain-we make the national news frequently for things that make the world shake its head. However, home is where the heart is, as well as the place where I don't have to pay rent.

I want to keep building my resume, learning new things and continue to grow as a person.

• Beyond making the specialty coffee drinks (lattes can be exacting work), I do my best to get to know our customers. Without creating a friendly environment, a coffee is just a coffee. I'd like to think we make it fun.
  I also do some overall management duties-like overseeing the other employees, keeping the whole store in a clean, working order and handle the cash drawers.
