About Me

I am currently looking for a full-time job at a company where I can flex my creative muscles. At the moment a perfect job would allow me to combine my love for video editing, social media, blogging, creative writing and web design.

I have an online Social Media Resume which explains most of my ambitions and interests. For anyone who is interested it is definitely worth checking out. My Social Media Resume is located at http://sites.google.com/site/agraviart/.

Also, for examples of my video editing skills, please check out my YouTube Channel at - http://www.youtube.com/user/azimmerblob.

Work History

  • Prudential Preferred Realty
  • Call Coordinator
  • I man the fast-paced, multi-phone system while greeting customers and completing light office work. I took this part-time job when I returned to school for web design. The jobs I perform here really have nothing to do with my goal career and I have perhaps been stagnant here for too long. Great company to work for, but I need a full-time job.

  • Hats Off To Larry Productions
  • Assistant Promotional Extras Supervisor
  • September 2007 to November 2007
  • This was a temporary position hiring background extras for the Miramax Films picture Adventureland. I recruited and cast promotional background actors for the film. I also maintained a database of the actors while managing 2 interns and 20+ actors daily. I learned so much about the business world and the world of hiring clients for a specific need. This was a fantastic experience!

  • Carriage Cleaners
  • Front Desk Personnel
  • July 2007 to September 2007
  • This was a totally random job I acquired while living in Charlotte, North Carolina for a brief stint. This job involved receiving and returning clothes to customers at the front desk of a dry cleaning business. I learned some very valuable lessons at this job from increasing my skills dealing with the general public, to understanding the behind the scenes workings of a business I would otherwise have known nothing about.

  • Adecco/First Commonwealth Bank
  • Assistant to Facilities Department
  • April 2007 to June 2007
  • This was a temporary position through the Adecco Temp Agency. I performed a variety of tasks including filing, online data input and excel spreadsheet creation.

  • Adecco/COE Distributing Inc.
  • Office Assistant
  • January 2007 to March 2007
  • Another temp position through Adecco. This job was a very fast-paced position as a receptionist/assistant to the accounts receivable department. This job is where I learned how to survive in an intense, action filled office environment. Though it was not very prestigious, I sincerely gained skills and knowledge at COE that will serve me as an employee forever.

  • Jeannette Public Library
  • Desk Clerk
  • December 2006 to June 2007
  • Here I facilitated library cataloging while solving customer problems. I produced Word & Excel documents to serve the librarian's needs. Answered patrons' reference questions & inventory inquiries. Interesting fact: The first job I ever worked was at this very library. I was a page (put books back on the shelf) from my sophomore year in high school till I graduated. I have a lot of fond memories at this place and I was lucky to get the chance to work with those people/friends again when I was older.

  • Sonic Pictures
  • Intern
  • May 2004 to August 2004
  • I was very lucky to obtain this internship the summer after my Junior year at college (W&J). I love films and an opportunity to work at a small production company was priceless. This gave me a first hand look into the inter-workings of a production company that was creating commercials, television shows and DVD portfolios for actors. Though Sonic has since gone out of business, I learned some important organizational tips related to the career area I would like to one day work in.
