Mehul Kar Need serious advice: I have a newsletter to teach tennis with a bunch of subscribers in high school. Apparently, these subscribers don't really check their email.. I'm tempted to switch the newsletter into a Facebook page and write the letters as notes. I lose exclusivity and it means I get fans who are not really fans. Which means conversion rate when I want to sell a product (tennis lessons) is lower than with a dedicated mailing list. What should I do?

He can add notes, images , videos etc. You have to go where your audience is to obtain the highest degree of impact otherwise you are wasting your time. Go with the flow not against it.

TOP IDEA: Adam Piplica It's easy to burn the candle at both ends when you're passionate about something. It's also really easy to sleep. What do you choose?

TOP IDEA: Adam Piplica Everyone knows attitude is key to success. But why settle with having a glass half full. Let's work to filling the glass to over-flowing!

TOP IDEA: Adam Piplica Give the world your best work today. Don't wait. You can always add value tomorrow but what impact can you have right now? The world doesn't demand perfection today, only action.

paulmacp A great place to see how your blog stacks up is http://websitegrader.com . Just key in your URL and see a report. I typically check my sites in the past every two or three months. The free report gives a lot of good advice.

Adam Piplica Hi everyone. I'm a market research professional working for Nunwood.com, in the Leeds UK office. I hope this group becomes more active: I'd love to hear about where other members of this group are working and where they see the future of the industry.

Adam Piplica Hi UK peeps. I wasn't sure how well this social network would work in the UK as Brazen Careerist has been very US-centric, but I'm pleasantly surprised this group has 49 members. By way of an introduction I'm a research consultant based in Leeds and founder of Magicalpenny.com

Daniel P. Bowen Since there doesn't appear to be a Feedburner network, I figured I'd ask the question here, as I'm sure many of you use Feedburner. Does anyone know how to publish a blog post and NOT have it go out to your e-mail subscribers? I'll be publishing a few posts I don't want to go out (RSS is OK), and then one post consolidating them and linking to them. The consolidation post is the only one I want to go out the e-mail group. Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

The RSS feed within most CMS (I most familiar with WordPress) only posts the last 10 posts (by stored date). Back date the post to before your 10th post (currently) and it will not appear in your feed.

Then publish your consolidation post normally and there you have it.

Hope that helps.
