Adam Gilbert Are you taller or shorter online than you are in person? In my experience, having had intimate relationships with literally 100’s of people throughout the US and world solely online via MyBodyTutor and my blogs, and then meeting some of these people offline, we’re all very different offline compared to how we are online. What has your experience been?

laurie ruettimann: I am five feet tall. The world notices me on line—but they really notice how little I am when I show up. It's all good, though. :)

Greco Barbaro: I would say its the same, but online is going to be way more formal then offline. wouldnt you agree?

Adam Gilbert I love Fall in NYC. It's a great time to exercise outdoors and enjoy the crisp autumn air. I spend a lot of time in the Fall exercising in Central Park. Where do you work out in NYC when the weather is as nice as it is right now?

Adam Gilbert Staying consistent with our diet and exercise is by far the biggest challenge when it comes to getting in shape. I'm wondering what you guys find to be the biggest hurdles in remaining consistent and meeting your workout goals. Maybe I can help you overcome some of those hurdles?

When hunger socks us, we're most likely to give in to our short term, irrational mind. That's why eating every 3-4 hours helps so much.

@Hannah - how about just plan old walking? Or dancing? And focus on how exercise makes us feel when we're done. That's the ultimate motivation - how great we'll get to feel.

@Hannah, I agree with walking. When I can, I get out over lunch with a walking buddy who really pounds the pavement, and we gab the whole time as we're looking at the scenery. It makes the hour go by fast, and at the end I really feel that I've had a workout.

Adam Gilbert Simply Hired just released some pretty interesting research that says 83% of job seekers would take a job they love for less money than they're making now. I think this is great! One of the things I always remind my blog readers is that relativity can make us unhappy and if we focused more of our energy on doing what we love doing and less on salary expectations then we would be happier people. Do you think that's true?

Yes, like with any health and fitness regimen - the key is to start and keep on going. That's it. The hardest part is keeping on going. Most people quit before the magic happens. But if you believe in what you're doing, it makes it so much easier. Unfortunately, I can't find the link - I read it and just jotted it down.

If you love what you do you will spend less money trying to entertain yourself and be fulfilled. Just my take on it. I haven't been out in weeks, but very rarely think about it. Perhaps I am in my own little bubble but who wouldn't be stoked knowing that every day when you finish the day that you have created something that never existed prior to 7am that morning.

Penelope Trunk All-day meeting today. No breaks except when I took my Blackberry to the bathroom. I wonder, what do you guys do during a too-long meeting?

My company will help you stay consistent by providing daily and personal accountability like no other company in the world. It works wonders and my clients who range in age from 15 to 77 years young are seeing (and feeling!) amazing results.
