About Me
My name is Aaron Helton, and I consider myself to be a technologist. In general terms, this means I embrace technology for technology's sake. I especially like to make and try web applications, but I also spend a great deal of time thinking about how the range of technological innovations we see every day will impact our lives.
At the moment I am a Senior Program Analyst with USAJOBS at the Office of Personnel Management, a Federal agency responsible for managing the Federal Government's workforce planning issues, including retirement, performance management, recruiting and hiring, health benefits, and background investigations. I joined USAJOBS after graduate school through the Presidential Management Fellows program, and eventually I will be in charge of IT security for USAJOBS.
I'm active on the usual social networks and inactive or intermittently active on lots more. If you're looking for me, I am usually pretty close to the top of Google's results for my name.
