Maybe Jesse Jackson has inspired me, but I'm proposing a name change for The Messi-uh, The One, Barack Hussein Obama. The Mainstream Media and the Left (but I repeat myself) are beside themselves whenever McCain supporters use Barry's middle name. But maybe there's something better we can use against the community organizer: Barack ACORN Obama.
ACORN is short for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Let's point out two things about this name. 1) Community Organizing, remember that being a community organizer is Obama's claim to executive experience; and 2) "Now" which is the most annoying word in politics (Democracy Now! One Wisconsin Now! and of course NOW).
But back to the community organizing. For years, ACORN has been responsible for extremely abusing the integrity of elections by submitting fraudulent voter registration forms. Just one example from this election season, they've registered the Dallas Cowboys starting lineup to vote in Nevada. Many more examples in this IBD article.
AND JOHN MCCAIN GETS IT!
Barack Obama is Mister community organizer! Like I said, they touted this as his executive experience since he's never been a governor or mayor, etc. The Left even had a talking point that "Jesus was a community organizer, Pontious Pilate was a governor." These are Obama's people. Stanley Kurtz has extensive research here on the strong ties between Barack Obama and ACORN. He even trained ACORN community organizers! It runs deep.
ACORN clogs up the election system because election officials have to seek out all the phoney registration forms. Instead of making sure honest folks are registered and able to vote, they're wading through all the garbage ACORN submits. It's fair to blame some of the election day hassles squarely at the feet of ACORN. Governement is wasteful and inefficient enough. It doesn't need any "help" from ACORN.
ACORN is almost unaccountable. Only now are we starting to hear about Congress cutting them off from taxpayer dollars.
Not only do we have a right to vote, but we have the right to free and fair elections. Everybody gets one vote, and only one vote. ACORN seeks to threatens everyone's right to elect our leaders. ACORN threatens the integrity of our elections. And ACORN and Obama are joined at the hip.
ACORN people are Obama people, and Obama is one of them. Saul Alinsky is the gradfather of community organizing and Obama is a student of his teachings. Oh yeah, and ACORN endorsed Obama.
Barack ACORN Obama. I'm not going to call him Barack Hussein Obama. He's Barack ACORN Obama.

11 RESPONSES TO "BUSTING OBAMA'S NUT"
What is the purpose of this post? How is this relevant to the Brazen Careerist site? I regularly enjoy most of the articles but this is ridiculous. IBD and New Republic? Wow that's really convincing stuff! Why don't you post this somewhere appropriate and spare us the right wing nonsense?
@JD, I think it's a nice counter to the left wing nonsense we get around here. While I don't fully understand what he's getting at (other than linking Obama to ACORN), and I don't necessarily believe it is front page material, I respect the Editors of this website for trying to even out the voice a bit.
Also, JD, how about this for right wing nonsense? Did you know Obama was a registered member of The New Party (http://www.newparty.org/), an openly Socialist Party, when he first ran for office in 1996 as this article in Populist Magazine clearly states: http://www.populist.com/11.96.Edit.html ?
Yeah, didn't think so. How much do we really know B. Hussein Obama?
BC lets it all hang out. I'm an independent blogger and BC retains the right to republish what I post at my own blog.
As to this post in particular, members of the media including Andrea Mitchell, NBC news, Washington, have pointed out when McCain supporters have used Obama's full name. And while I have no problem with calling him by hisfull name, my proposal is more effective, especially in light of the recent controversy with ACORN.
You can question my sources all you want, but the facts are a matter of record. ACORN has been submitting less than accurate (that's generous) voter registration forms for years, which is consistent with the "Chicago / Saul Alinsky style" community organizing.
Sure, Obama's middle name is the same as that of a genocidal Iraqi thug dictator, but his ACORN connections are much more relevant to political discourse, and will resonate more with voters.
The more important link between Obama and ACORN is their combined role in being some of the first to successfully use the community reinvestment act to pressure banks and later the fed gov to encourage subprime loans to poor and minorities. This of course is at the root of the economic problems the world is having right now.
@JD - This site's posts are 40% left and 30% FAR left so don't sweat a few posts from those on the right.
A little advice, Josh.
When writing a blog, make sure you check your grammar and spelling before you post. Not doing so can seriously detract from your credibility. For example: "ACORN seeks to threatens everyone's right..."
Second, the information you dredge from right wing rags doesn't make your assertions any more true. Any jackass can publish a bunch of hearsay, opinions, and half-truths. Please don't contribute to the pointless and arbitrary banter by sourcing them.
If you want to be taken seriously, don't reference known partisans like Stanley Kurtz.
Best of luck.
@Scott - Those are very good points. Had ACORN not been agitating financial companies to give loans to people who couldn't afford to own houses (and ACORN threatened to libel and slander such lending institutions as racist), the whole mess wouldn't be anywhere near as bad. Interesting that Fannie and Freddie also cut big checks to the Rainbow PUSH coalition, Rev. Jesse Jackson's outfit which has similar goals as ACORN.
@Gavin - We can't all be perfect like you Gavin. A finger can slip and add an extra "s" while typing ass I'm sure anyone can attest. And I'll repeat part of my reply to JD: just because you don't like my sources doesn't make them false. So what if they're partisan? That only means they have an agenda, and does not automatically mean they are lying.
I'M a known partisan. So what? Who cares! I'm not trying to be objective or non-partisan. I'm just calling it like I see it, sharing my opinions, and linking to other sources. Unlike MSNBC, CNN, and the AP (just to name a few), I'm honest enough to admit that I take sides. And I'm not going to apologize for it.
Gavin - your response is so typical of libs. You either claim it's ridiculous that anybody would want to know a few things about the man who might be the leader of the free world OR you attempt to discredit the source by claiming it's far right. You guys rarely provide sources that are contrary (because you can't, because nobody on the left refutes the obama/acorn story except by claiming it's ridiculous or by discrediting the source - how circular)
I'd like to see you refute the obama/acorn story. Oh and please don't source known partisans or left wing rags. Of course, you do realize that excludes 80% of all media sources.
Best of luck.
@Scott
So let me see if I understand this? You would like Gavin to refute the obama/acorn story by using 20% of the media which you claim are all right-wing rags? Maybe he should just write to FOX news for some clarification, they've got a great reporting team.
hey Gavin, while you're at it see if you can find out who killed JFK or where they buried Hoffa. thanks.
Best of luck.
Boy, Penelope really gathered The Best and The Brightest intellects when she started this piece of turd....I mean blog.
@John - Thank you for your insightful analysis. Your comments will be the subject of many doctoral theses for decades to come. If only the rest of the world could be as thoughtful, imaginative, and constructive as you.
Oh and haha, I don't think "busting a nut" is what you think it is. You might wanna be more careful with your titles. ;)
Gave me an excellent laugh though.
