CutiePieHusband and I were fans of watching Becky Worley on The Best Places to Find Cash and Treasure (now called Kirsten Gum Treasure Hunter) on the Travel Channel, and somehow watching developed into doing as we found ourselves Georgia and North Carolina bound for our honeymoon.
We found lots of gold in Dahlonega, Georgia, rubies and sapphires in Franklin, North Carolina, amethysts, aquamarines, citrine, rose quartz, garnets, emeralds - literally buckets of gemstones throughout Georgia and North Carolina.
