Ryan Paugh Was anyone offended by the Groupon Tibet commercial during the Superbowl? Immediately after it aired there was a huge amount of backlash on Twitter. I think it was borderline offensive. It wasn't even funny in an off-color humor kind of way. Living Social on the other hand had a pretty funny commercial. I wonder how they both spent their Superbowl dollars will affect their growth...

The Walking Dead on AMC started excellent but recent episodes fell back on some conventional script writing.

Dexter was excellent. You can catch 3 seasons on streaming.

Modern Family. Can't praise this highly enough. Very funny and willing to be un PC.

Vincent Are there any Dexter fans here? After years of avoidance I finally sat down and watched Season 1 on Netflix. Stayed up to the wee hours to finish it. Wow! How fun is it to route for a "not-really-so-bad guy"?

Vincent Are there any fans of the BBC-A show "Being Human" here? I liken it to Buffy the Vampire Slayer with grown ups who all sound like Giles. It's been one of my favorite vampire/supernatural type shows since Buffy. I've tried "True Blood" but it lacks the wit and humor.

Ryan Paugh I saw something that I really liked on Hulu last night. Whenever a commercial played there was a tiny pop up in the right-hand corner of the ad that said: Is this ad relevant to you? I clicked No and the pop up went away. I love that advertisers are doing this and that internet TV opens such doors. Lord only knows how they're using the data they collect, but seems like a step in the right direction to me. What do you guys think?

I watch it when I don't have access to my cable TV. One thing I always find interesting about Hulu though is that they're always trying new things. I've experienced the 2-3 commercial break experience, but also occasionally got an offer to watch a full show uninterrupted if I spend 1-2 minutes filling out a survey. Even if it's not perfect, I think that's pretty cool. I'm hoping they do something beneficial w/ the data their collecting from the ad feedback feature. If anyone finds out anything concrete, please let us know.

I have also used the "relevant"/"not relevant" buttons, though not very often so without any visible result. I still like that they are even asking, though.

I think the reason that sometimes the ads don't change is that those are the only advertisers (or there are only a few advertisers) who have selected that show or type of show. Thus Hulu doesn't really have anything else to serve you. They are still struggling with getting ad revenue, unless I miss my guess.

Ryan Paugh Alright ladies, I have a question for you. Not a professional one, but it's Friday so let's keep it real. Right? Okay. So Mad Men is an awesome show and Don Draper is one of the most well-constructed characters on television, but do you find him attractive? Just read a blog post from a Brazen member who says "Don Draper is not sexy" and I want to know if you all agree with her. Read the post and let me know --> http://bit.ly/dfmRRr

Hey Vincent,

This season's Psych is starting to shape up better. The chemistry between the cast is still awesome. I like that they haven't tried to change Lassiter too much and it looks like they're veering away from the whole Shawn/Juliette weird love thing.

Are you also a fan of White Collar, Burn Notice, Royal Pains and Covert Affairs? I've also found myself drawn to the TNT show Memphis Beat.

I think they've done a good job with developing the characters.

White Collar is one of those shows I really enjoy when I watch but haven't made an active effort to follow. It's a little off from the shows you mentioned but have you seen Haven? It's on the SyFy channel... sort of a supernatural detective story.

Nechiele Whittington So, who's following "The IT Crowd" in its fourth season on BBC TV? My husband introduced me to it and I must say, I can't get enough of the thing! Friends that watch it often compare me to Moss on my good days...I'm not sure if this is good or bad. Especially since I can usually be heard muttering Roy's punchline "Hallo, IT.
