Just created it: http://www.brazencareerist.com/network/social-media-managers -- hope you'll join if you're a social media manager, or would like to become one!

Jim Armstrong What are your thoughts on StumbleUpon? The platform enjoyed a banner year in 2011 and has more plans to grow in 2012 (looking to expand into international markets and build out its mobile offerings). Would love to know if you use it and for what purpose. Here's a review I did on the platform--> http://bit.ly/yMysQQ

Lamar Morgan I am truly floored by the popularity of Pinterest.com. So simple to use and yet so dynamic. While I think everyone serious about social media needs to have a Foursquare venue, I think having a presence on Pinterest is equally important. Makes me wonder what's next? Could it be 900Feet.com? Never heard of 900Feet? Well, it's time you watched the video at my Pinterest billboard. See http://pinterest.com/pin/50524827039701998.

I particularly found the video clip with Chris Brogan very insightful. But, tell me, have you ever thought about doing anything clever with t-shirts? Lamar Morgan I would like to know if anyone here seeking a better future for himself has considered the benefits of implementing a pay-it-forward strategy involving - caring people, willing places and useful things? Well, I want you to know I have. I have simply gotten fed up with sending out paper resumes', applying to applicant tracking software programs and being screened out from consideration. So, I have decided to turn the tables on the process. Want to know how? Ask me.

These two companies do not have close competitors right now. With the emergence of Google+, Facebook just lost that advantage. Facebook now had to make a few moves to preserve it's secret sauce. Otherwise, it'll get "myspaced."

Hi Keith,

I really appreciate your feedback here. I absolutely agree with most of the points Robert makes in his post. I actually mention these in my article as features that we don't like (single admin access and no third-party applications access to Google + like Tweetdeck & Hootsuite).

I do believe that these kinks will be worked out. The one point that Robert focuses on in his post is the single admin access - a feature that will become multiple admin access in due time. As the platform currently stands, I do believe it is incomplete and could even be inadequate for some businesses. With this being said, I do believe Google will take feedback like this, refine their product and turn Google + into a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks again Keith, really appreciate your feedback.

Jim Armstrong Hey Brazen...hope you're having a great weekend. Random question but I thought I would tap into the community. My roommate is looking to re-locate to the North Carolina area (Raleigh/Durham & Charlotte would be his top choices). He has 2.5 years of experience as a media buyer at two established media agencies in NYC. Anyone know of any opps. in NC in marketing and/or strategy? He's looking to move from the media side to a more traditional marketing strategy role? Thanks guys!
