Nomadic Entrepreneurship

In short, the purest form of nomadic entrepreneurship is a business that can be run from anyplace, anytime as long as there's Internet connection available.

Andrew Shell If you've started (or are starting) a company, where did the idea for your company come from? Did you already know your target demographic before you started or did you find it as you went along?

You don't want to be self-employed and you be the system and always be tied down by that business if you aren't there. You should look at network marketing it is the business for the 21st century. Read, Napolean Hills, Think and Grow Rich. David Schwartz's book, The Magic of Thinking Big. Also, Robery Kiyosacki's book The Business for the 21st Century.

The idea came from being in the industry already and I spotted a gap in the market for what I went on to do. Regarding target demographic this grew as the business expanded and we managed that growth. As the business flourished in growth we always developed into new services. Personally you start of with an idea and you cannot help but develop into new markets/services. Whatever works and makes the customer happy! Plus making profit helps

Jesse Shy I might be behind on this. But, I discovered the Google Calculator for the first time last night. You can now type math equations on the google search line. It even lets you do things like sqrt and ^ for exponent. Even cooler is the conversion piece. You can type things like 3 tablespoons to teaspoons or cups or milliliters. Do this with other conversions too. This is REALLY handy for cooking, especially when your recipes are in imperial and you live where they use metric.

Jesse Shy For me, one of the hallmark characteristics of leadership is preparedness. Not in the sense that you are carrying everything you could ever possibly need but, that you are mentally, emotionally and psychologically prepared to adapt and take advantage of dynamic situations. One of my favorite John Maxwell pieces is on the leadership lessons from the Lewis and Clark expedition. http://bit.ly/fqkjmB

My post (and my brain) were just considering how crazy entrepreneurship can be. It is one of the best jolts of adrenaline at the same time as being totally exhausting...All the while, being absolutely fulfilling. But, I wonder how many people know that before they get into it.

And @ Jamie, I really truly always love seeing you with that dolphin. So fun!

How could they if you've never done it before? :) It's a learning experience. Trial by fire but it's an exhilarating experience!

Juha Liikala Just asked this at my blog - http://bit.ly/98IKWx Could you list 5-10 concrete tasks you find yourself doing repeatedly during your workweek (tasks that are related to the business you're running). Now, out of those tasks, underline the ones that you absolutely MUST DO in order to keep your business running and making revenue. Finally, out of the one’s you underlined, circle those you consider you’re at the top of your game while doing them (the one's you enjoy doing most and are good at).
