Monica Carol Evans Is anyone interested in http://www.scriptfrenzy.org/? It's where you write a script instead of a novel. I never finished my novel, but I love the creative exercise.

Script Frenzy sounds like it is mostly ALL dialogue (well, and some blocking) so I've been thinking about giving it a try...
Anyone else?

Heather Conroy I'm gearing up for this year's NaNoWriMo. I want to spend a little thought and planning on it and I want to spread it out as this will be a hectic year for me. Any ideas for what I can do pre November?

Monica Carol Evans So I NaNoWriMo FAILED last night at 38,000 words. I took about a week off mid-month and never got my mojo back. Fortunately, I wrote more in November than I ever have in my LIFE and am happy that I have (hopefully) kickstarted a writing habit that I can take with me into December and beyond. And I can't wait to finish this novel and start the edit process :-)

Heather Conroy: Congratulations Monica! Sounds like a victory to me!

Adam Miller Well, I passed the 50K mark last night, so first win down, now I need to actually finish this thing! Anyone else finish up?

Selene Tan: I cleared the 50,000 word mark on Nov 28. My plot isn't quite over yet, though...

Heather Conroy: Congrats to both of you as well-what a fantastic effort! Me next year I hope.

Adam Miller How's everyone's writing going? I should hit the 30K mark today (well, I should be already hitting it, but I'm writing this instead . . . )

Monica Carol Evans Ok, so we should be writing about 1600 words a day to stay on track. I did not have a strong start yesterday. I only wrote about 1000 words. All dialogue even though I promised myself I'd be more descriptive! And it was hard. How do you write without forcing it?

Set a timer for 10, 15 minutes, and do your best to write straight through until the timer stops. Then go take a break! Keep doing it until you've got 1667 words. If you're feeling up to it you can set a longer timer, but short periods are less scary a commitment.

blake hall I actually read "No Plot? No Problem!" in prep last year... It has some really great, practical advice for how to have a successful month (not that I'd know :P). Hopefully this year I'll be able to hit the mark.
