mercurial vapor super March Madness- West Virginia Kentucky Tip Off the Third Round,

In Honor of Jim Leyland, Heres 1991 Video Footage of
the Then-Pirates Manager Dropping 21 F-Bombs on Barry Bonds Jim Leyland has the
Detroit Tigers four wins away from the World Series, and in honor of the
68-year-old manager, here's an old nike mercurial vapor video of Leyland dropping (by my
count) 21 f-bombs on Barry Bonds back in 1991 Spring Training. As much
Yankee-bashing as I've been doing this morning, Leyland did a masterful
managerial job against the Yankees. Throwing the best pitcher in the AL just
once and winning three games Impressive. A Night to Fredette* Jimmer Fredette's
brilliant college career ended in depressing fashion: 11-of-29 shooting,
3-for-15 on three-pointers and an overtime loss to Florida. CBS executives are
surely depressed at the thought of a Florida-Butler regional final (the teams
have a history, which I'll get to shortly), but fans are, too.Fredette was the
most dynamic player in the country for most of the season – though Arizona's
Derrick Williams and Connecticut's Kemba Walker have surpassed him now – and
while those two are terrific stories because Williams went from nobody to Top-5
NBA pick, and Walker has carried

a young team on his back for the last four weeks,
Fredette remains the best story. He's college basketball's closest thing to Tim
Tebow off the field (clean cut white kid who everyone loves), and the 27 ppg and
parking-lot range jumper don't hurt, either. Have you seen his Rivals profile If
Brandon Davies doesn't get suspended, then Alex Tyus doesn't collected 17
rebounds … ah, I'll stop, it's too painful.I know Fredette's getting hammered
today for taking bad shots (uh, he's done that all season), and more than a
handful of folks are down on his NBA potential (his lack of defense, which is
nothing new). But he'll be drafted. In the first round. By someone like Utah,
which will have two lottery picks.Florida-Butler's yawn-inducing regional final
(weakest of the four, I'd say) soccer cleats factory at least can be promoted with
repeated highlights of this Mike Miller buzzer shot from the 2000 tournament
when the Gators beat the Bulldogs in the first round.[vid via @Jose3030] [*

March Madness: West Virginia Kentucky Tip Off the Third Round,

Followed by Florida-UCLA Today's basketball schedule
is more heavily skewed toward prime time than year's past, when they followed
more of a 1-2-3-2 model in scheduling games. The only games that start before
5:15 eastern time today are at the Tampa site, where West Virginia meets
Kentucky in the first contest, and Florida takes on UCLA in the second.I
concluded thesecond Adidas F50 adizero TRX AG round 26-6 on my picks(28-4
in the TBL IIbracket, why I switched Michigan State and Penn State picks, I
don't know), so at least I managed to finish in front of just picking the higher
seeds. Though I'm not qualified to lead the free world, which was in doubt until
my bracket picks came in.EAST REGIONAL- #4 Kentucky vs. #5 West Virginia (CBS,
12:15, announcers: Eagle/Spanarkel)This should be a defensive struggle. Kentucky
is very good at blocking shots and limiting quality looks inside. West Virginia
plays its typical hard-nosed halfcourt defense under Huggins and gets out on
shooters well. Brandon Knight will be the key to this game. He'll need to
penetrate to create open looks for Kentucky's shooters. Kentucky is among the
national leaders at 3-point shooting, while

West Virginia is among the best at defending the
line.West Virginia's offense isn't very good at shooting from outside, and
relies on second chance points. Can Terrence Jones and company limit this in
this game That will likely determine the outcome. The Pick: KentuckySOUTHEAST
REGIONAL- #2 Florida vs. #7 UCLA (CBS, 2:45, announcers: Eagle/Spanarkel)This
one is going to feature two active, long and athletic front lines, with three
starters each taller than 6'7″. Florida is good at getting on the glass, and
creating fouls for the opponent. UCLA, like Kentucky (the only team to beat
Florida in the last 12), can block shots and plays good post defense. The
difference is on the other end, where UCLA is not nearly as good from the
outside as Kentucky. If UCLA hopes to pull the upset, they will need to shoot
above their average from outside. The perimeter shooting of the guards isthe
X-factor in this game where points in the paint will be a battle. The Pick: I
know I said Florida was the weakest #2 seed, but they have the advantage in this
matchup if they can just neutralize UCLA on the

interior. Florida.[photo via Getty]
