Hannah Rose Hello! Like Katherine, I am also considering pursuing an MLIS degree. However, I am reconsidering after reading the replies to her post. What are some careers that are similar to librarianship? I have an interest in writing and editing, if that helps. Any suggestions or advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.advivewould

I have an MLS but at my current job I've become more of an IA/content/knowledge management jack-of-all-trades.

Hi Everyone -- have any of you used the READ Scale to evaluate your reference services? What did you think of it? Any barriers to implement it? I'd love to hear your comments/thoughts....

Katherine Green I'm thinking of pursuing an MLS degree. Current career in law and government education policy. Any thoughts on the current state of the profession? Interested in library work, but also interested in taking some information management (tech) classes to make sure I have a strong base in technology as this drives how we access data and information.

Lindy Gulanes I am trying to convince faculty that library workshops are worthwhile for their students, any ideas how to sell it to them better?

: I focus on ways I can help faculty incorporate infolit skills into their curriculum & learning outcomes. Let me know if you want examples.

Lindy Gulanes: Examples would be great. Let's take this to the forum, perhaps. I need more than 140 characters...
