INFP

As an INFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your personal value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.

INFPs, more than other iNtuitive Feeling types, are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goal is to find out their meaning in life. What is their purpose? How can they best serve humanity in their lives? They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they have identified for themselves (Personality Page.com)

Destin Hicks I read that INFPs rank the highest in job dissatisfaction of all the personality types. Now I wonder, how often is that because INFPs try to hold the same old jobs meant for the majority of the population whose personalities are totally different? I mean, how many INFPs are actually taking jobs that are suited to them? I won't settle for anything that isn't compatible with my personality, my goals, and my convictions. I won't work for Wal-mart, but Whole Foods? Sure.

Amanda Linehan Hi INFPs - Just wanted to recommend an interesting INFP blog, entitled (shockingly enough) "infp Blog" http://www.infpblog.com/. Some really good thoughts on life with an infp personality type. The most recent post is "Happiness and Turning 40." Would be curious to know what you think about it (the blog in general, not just the post).

Isao Kato MyPersonality.info is a great place to profile ourselves - questions are well constructed, the results match (at least) my past results with other tests, and it provides a profile page for each member. Here is mine. http://www.mypersonality.info/isaokato/
