Pete Collins Do you delete any of your blog posts? My blogging is quite variable in terms of quality, so should I get rid of some older ones that I don't really like, don't link to, and have hardly got any views? It would increase the average quality of my posts, but decrease the quantity. What do you do?

Perhaps you didn't have a clear goal in mind when you started blogging? Go back and re-focus those old posts, clean up the writing and add some SEO into them to bring them up to speed.

I am not a member of the team, but I too at one point got a bit swamped by group messages and just went to settings (just above your profile picture) and adjusted the amount of mail I was getting for each group. I hope this helps! Jana

I did check your account and you're not active in any groups (so you successfully de-registered) and you successfully changed your settings to not receive emails. So you did everything right!

Pete Collins LinkedIn has listed the top 10 buzzwords in people's profiles. http://wp.me/puFgS-8I Do you think these are legitimate phrases or just cliches? If the latter, how do you avoid them?

Pete Collins Hello all, I just wondered if any of you have used or deliberately not used the Demand Media Blog Distribution Network, or any similar distribution network. http://www.demandstudios.com/freelance-work/bloggers.html Worth it? Not worth it? Limiting on what you can write? Any thoughts welcome!

It's good for a quick buck, but the biggest complaint I've seen is the difference between editors. Some editors will be fine with a particular format, and other will reject your article in that same format. There's no consistency. It's also difficult to search for titles because their organization is terrible.

Pete Collins: Thanks both. I do write some articles for DS; I was more specifically wondering about their blog distribution network than the article writing though.

Pete Collins Hi all, I have spent the last few days at the Conservative Party Conference, so if you are interested in UK politics then please take a quick look at my (mainly irreverent) posts. http://petejamescollins.wordpress.com/ Thanks, Pete

Valentina Thörner da Cruz Hi everybody, I have a question to all you European bloggers. In which language do you blog? Do you choose English to settle for a (potential) international audience, or do you blog in your residence or mother language (if it's not English)? I have settled for English (see explanation here: http://valedeoro.wordpress.com/language-confusion ) but I still have my doubts sometimes whether that was the best decision. Thoughts?

Jacob Revold: May I add it looks like you have nuance and accuracy well covered in your language.

I think it's better for my readers to read me in my mother tongue.

Conor O'Kane Good to be here! I'm from Ireland and currently living in Ireland (though hopefully that'll change soon! :o)) Angelo - I think Europeans are too focused on recession and not thinking about America much these days :o)
