Why I like it here? 40,000 employees, their families and friends participated in Citi's Global Community Day (10/22) by volunteering in over 1,000 opportunities around the world. I volunteered at Hope Children's Home - an amazing organziation for children that need the love and confort of a home!

I've noticed a trend lately where more and more HR/OD people are being shifted to consultant roles instead of being FTEs. I'm actually excited about this, as to me it's an indication that we have an opportunity to completely replace HR with something entirely new and much more effective. What I look for in a company as far as benefits has changed overtime. At this stage in my life flexibility / work-life balance is at the top of my list! Last night both my kids were sick so today, rather than stressing to find somebody that could stay home with them, I am working remotely, Got to love it!
