I ask because I tend to take the lazy way out and call sizes by their american names (A cardinal sin at Starbucks). The clerks always give me dirty looks. It's like I'm an outsider because I'm not down with the lingo. I don't like saying the proper names because it just doesnt make any logical sense. How can tall be small?

I got into the habit of ordering in terms of cup oz, something that never fails to confuse SB employees. It seems obvious to me that 12oz = Tall but I suppose they're simply not used to thinking about the sizes in that way.

Routine (or ritual; not the same as a habit) is one of the kings of self enhancement. Begin good routines, delete bad habits.
1. start with fresh RO water, no sneaky flavours in there.
2. Experiment with the amount of coffee YOU like, not what the tin says, I like 1/3 of a cup.
3. Add "coffiments" Cream, sweetener, etc.
4. Enjoy.

To report: The seal still works great, the cup doesn't have any tricky spots to clean, AND even though the top is white, my lipgloss doesn't stain the top. For guys, that might not be a big deal, but I know the ladies might like to know that. :)

I used to have to resort to drinking starbucks. I don't particualry like the taste, but it was the only brand strong enough to really give me the jolt I need. Aside from that, my heart likes the "familiarity" and reminiscence of this mug that looks like paper cups, but my mind tells me that using something obviously anti-papercup can send a better subtle, even subconscious message to all those who see my mug, and yours, and theirs over and over again, if you see what I mean. But if this one's seal is superb, I would succumb to reliability ultimately. :)
