Jerry McKennan Hello all! I've been writing a blog with a couple of other people and would like some feedback, if you don't mind! It's a sports blog and is mostly reactions/fantasy advice. www.sidelinescholars.com Please let me know what I may be able to do to improve and bring in more viewers. Thanks!

John Southee Yesterday I posted a short and fun interview on my site with Tim Anderson. Tim Anderson was the 17 year old that caught three home runs in three consecutive nights a couple of weekends ago. Check it out here if you're interested in reading. John Southee The Yankees hit 3 grand slams yesterday against the A's, an accomplishment that has never been done before. They had 17 chances with bases loaded yesterday. Talk about going from a laugher of a game (they were down 7-1 by the 3rd inning) to a pretty fun game (if you're a Yankees fan).

Since Justin Morneau's concussion on July 7, 2010, the Twins have gotten one home run in 368 at-bats in Target Field from Mauer and Morneau.

John Southee So how's everyone's favorite team doing? Has anyone been to a game yet this year?

42 weeks ago from Baseball

John Southee Now that baseball is over does anyone follow the offseason closely or do most just still to watching baseball when they are actually playing?

Josh Thomas Does anyone here still have their team left in the playoffs?

Meg Walsh: Go Giants!! Go Rangers!!
Brett Kunsch: Yikes, the Rangers gave us Yanks a whoopin'. Cleaning out the lockers.

Josh Thomas What are everyone's thoughts on the season so far? A no-no AND a perfect game thus far..

Atlanta's pitching has been horrendous and the offense has been abysmal at best. The no-no by Ubaldo Jimenez was disappointing and embarassing. Bobby Cox is a good coach but hopefully his retirement is an opportunity for a breath of fresh air. We'll see what the rest of the season brings. But other than, the season has been entertaining. Too bad the All-Star game remains in AZ. GO BRAVES!!

Unfortunate we had to send down our No. 2/3 pitcher and starting 2nd baseman already.

As for the rest of the league, I think it's going really good. Glad to see teams like the Rays, Padres and Reds leading their respective divisions instead of what you typically see. Also glad to see teams take a more balanced team in terms of speed and power. That makes for a much more interesting game.

Eva Padilla Just wanted to say what's up. Anyone traveling to see spring training?

Josh Thomas Anyone follow the Winter Meetings? There seems to be plenty of rumors going around now that they're finished.

112 weeks ago from Baseball

Megan Ogulnick: I was at the Winter Meetings..Incredible time. But you're right, seems to be a lot more going on now than while I was there!

Andrew Stuhl Am I the only one in this group actually watching Baseball? C'mon folks, the real season just started! Go Phils!

121 weeks ago from Baseball

Ryan Stephens: I think the Dodgers offense was legit. Can the Phils stop the Yanks? With Hamels throwing the way he has?
Andrew Stuhl: @Ryan-great question. Hamels = shaky. Lee will start Game 1 and Manuel said he'll pitch Lee 3 times in the series. Who has a better offense?

Andrew Stuhl Heading to the Brewers game tonight in Milwaukee! Hopefully I can catch a foul ball, hand it to my daughter, and she'll throw it back.

124 weeks ago from Baseball

Andrew Stuhl Nearly an epic comeback last night as the Phils piled on 5 runs in the top of the 9th,only to lose to the Nats 8-7. No cape for Ryan Howard.

Megan Ogulnick Questions-Does a player create his reputation or does the media? How does the media affect a reputation? Is it all the player? Thoughts?

128 weeks ago from Baseball

Josh Thomas: Player creates rep by how he interacts with media. More outgoing = better rep. It's like what we all do, branding and community management.

Brendan Wilhide How about Zack Greinke tonight? He gets my vote for AL Cy Young.

128 weeks ago from Baseball

Ryan Stephens: I think Greinke gets the nod if it ends today. KC being terrible might give Verlander, Felix the Cat, Halladay, or even CC an outside chance

Meghan Flynn the trade deadline approaches! anyone expect a big shake up? i heard Buchholz might be up for grabs - I hope not!

133 weeks ago from Baseball

Meghan Flynn: July trading is one of the most exciting things about baseball. opening day is nice, but in a thank-god-for-summer way. now its like AHHH!!!

Josh Thomas: The main deals are going to end up involving salary. If a team can pay for a player, better potential for a big deal.

SarStry Thoughts on the allstar picks??

135 weeks ago from Baseball

Ryan Healy: Is he gonna be a sub? I would love it if he doesn't make it at all!

Dan Healy Alright, so who are your teams??

136 weeks ago from Baseball
