Lisa Kretchman I've been updating my art website to show some new artwork and add fine art prints. I thought I'd also add some freebies like desktop wallpapers based on the artwork. Any feedback about the website would be welcome! http://www.lisakretchman.com

Your "Art Hearts" are buried in your blog...they're distinctive, both in execution and intent. I'd make them easier to find. From the home page, even.

Lisa Kretchman: Thanks Shana! I'll get a page set up for those on the website as well.

L. E. I'm wondering if any of my Brazen Careerist friends have any direct connections to Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts?

Emma Kirsopp hey everyone, thanks for joining this conversation. I have recently landed a new job which has brought up a lot of issues surrounding the day job/art balance. Personally I'm loving the challenge and my day job is feeding into and expanding my artwork in new and exciting ways. What do others think? How do you cope with the job/art balance, or is it not an issue?

I'm a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, but I find that my work detracts from, instead of enriching or adding to, the fine art I make as a hobby. My illustration style is digital line and fill--90% of my work is with Adobe Illustrator, while my fine art is the opposite--textured, layered, mixed-media. I'm deeply proud of my work, but finding time and energy for my fine art has proven a lot more challenging than I imagined it would back in art school!

Patrick Gracewood Hello, I'm new to BC. I'm a working artist /sculptor. Steering my work towards Landscape Designers and Architects as a good audience for my art. It's combining my love of sculpture and gardening and creating fountains and architectural scale bas relief sculpture.

You can see some examples of my work online: www.lisahutler.com. I really need to take this time to put some good photos of new work up and learn a little something about designing a website myself! Any ideas on a good place to start?
