In your experience as a recruiter, what is the value of discovering a candidate who appears in the first few results when you search their name? Do you mostly see their Facebook, Linkedin or both? What other results frequently appear as a positive and negative factor? Thanks.

I was curious how thorough employers may vet candidates in Google, and if they do find results, which were common. Pre-employment screening through social media is changing the way applicants get (or don't get) hired:
