Imagine the game of grade school telephone, but instead of one or two words being lost in translation the entire element of the brand would be lost. The image, the meaning, the personality, the values, what it stands for, what it doesn't stand for.

A brand is only a brand when it has discrete meanings behind it, specific things a brand stands for. Othewise its just a symbol
