A very high percentage of us are mobile (phones, netbooks, etc.) I find myself using my BlackBerry to use mobi sites more than I use the actually internet site.
As far as I'm concerned, you can not ignore mobile recruiting.

ERPs and ATSs are becoming more user-friendly, and just as you want to be sure your job page can show up on multiple browsers, they need to be mobile as well.

You check in to a building where there's a company you're interested in and can see a list of posted jobs there. With the press of a button on your mobile device you can apply for the position, automatically sending your online profile to the employer. Could work at trade show events quite nicely too.

It should also make looking for a new job easier during free moments at work rather than having to cut into family time after work.

I would love to see more companies move into more efficient methods of recruiting. Most are incredibly inefficient. I get annoyed when I upload a resume, then have to spend what seems like hours copying and pasting the exact same information that's ALREADY ON MY RESUME into text blocks in the online application.

I'm afraid I'm of the old school and use my mobile phone for phoning, not surfing. I think the interface is just not rich enough for most real job searches.

I think more and more people will become open to this, and as a result, corporations will have to make their content mobile-friendly. Of course I may be biased :) but I felt that way before I joined AT&T too!
