Stacy Blackman Consulting

Stacy Blackman has been consulting on the MBA application process since 2001. She earned her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Stacy has worked with the admissions committees at both schools, conducting alumni interviews and evaluating applicants.

After graduating from Wharton, Stacy began working in finance at the Prudential Capital Group in San Francisco. Following business school, she transitioned into a career in marketing and has since worked in marketing roles at companies such as Charles Schwab, idealab! and Haagen Dazs. Through her work in marketing, Stacy identified similarities between traditional marketing and admissions strategy. She has developed a highly effective approach to marketing her clients successfully to top MBA programs.

In addition to managing the MBA Admissions Consulting firm, Stacy Blackman Consulting, Stacy is a sought-after speaker on the topic of MBA admissions. She has taught groups from the YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and coached alumni organizations from schools such as the Stanford, Penn and Williams College. She also runs workshops at companies including JPMorgan, Lehman Brothers, UBS and Credit Suisse First Boston. Stacy serves on the Board of Directors of AIGAC, the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants.

Stacy has been profiled in several publications, including Fortune Magazine, BusinessWeek and the Wall Street Journal. The Stacy Blackman blog provides admissions advice and MBA news and is updated several times a week.
