Sean Canton was born in Seattle, was quickly brought to Southern California, and running from the heat, has been slowly moving north ever since. After a 8 year stint in Arcata, CA, attending Humboldt State University achieving dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Geography, Sean worked part-time at a small ISP and eventually got a gig as a Video Editor / Producer. Following love and looking for gainful employment has brought him to Lake Oswego, OR, a small town 6 miles south of Portland.
Sean has been working in the internet/media/entertainment industry for nearly 10 years, is quite proficient at a number of programming languages and frameworks, (PHP, ActionScript, Ruby on Rails), has discovered great enjoyment in business development, bikes to work a couple times during the week, drinks jasmine green tea, and above all, plays a mean piano.
Sean has recently organized a more focused effort at self-employment, www.8isc.com, providing technology consulting and low-cost creative solutions for small businesses and non-profits.
