Philippa is a freelance translator living in London, UK. She graduated in Spanish and French and later gained a master’s degree in Translation and Linguistics from the University of Westminster, London. After working in-house as a translator in the legal field, she decided to take the plunge as a freelancer and doesn’t miss cubicle life one bit. She started blogging as a way of tracing her progress as she faces new and exciting challenges in her career, whilst allowing her to reflect and encourage debate on the translation profession as a whole. She particularly enjoys blogging about carving out your own career path and the various joys and challenges of a freelance lifestyle.

Philippa Hammond's blog is Blogging Translator: Translation and Linguistics.
