Michael Henreckson was homeschooled all the way through high school. After graduation, he started exploring the world of traditional education and is currently seeking his Bachelor's.
Michael has a background in small business and entrepreneurship, including experience with construction, real estate and retail. These projects helped to strengthen his passion for the quadruple threat of getting things done quickly, efficiently, with a high level of quality, and a minimum of headache. Michael has found that technology has a lot to offer when it comes to improvement on all of these fronts.
When he's not working, studying or blogging, (in other words a small percentage of his time) Michael enjoys running, photography, and reading. He also likes playing with computers and technology, which is really just a sneaky way to get more work in while pretending to relax.
Michael Henreckson's blog is The Paperweight.

Sometimes the best solution to our overwhelming problems is to just take a break and start again later. The same thing goes for our PC’s. For a while you can just reboot the computer and you’re good to go, but eventually it gets beyond that. It’s time to reinstall Windows.
…if you don’t want to be unplugged, the web app Jott has just started rolling out a new service that allows you to have your RSS feeds read to you over the phone.
It’s not always a bad thing. It has the ability to teach us things that we never would have learned except by going through the school of hard knocks.
These days productivity and technology seem to be overlapping. If you want to be productive or hip, you have to use the latest technology. While using technology can be very effective, there’s also a lot to be said for going back to the basics. To enlighten us on this topic, we have a guest post […]
There’s been a bit of a buzz about how having bigger monitors can increase your productivity. They can have a hefty price-tag though, so here’s a solution to your screen space problems that’s easier on the wallet.
When you’re productivity driven like I am, you might find it difficult to justify the time it takes to write. As irksome as it might be on our tight schedules, writing takes time and it takes work. Personally I find it very hard to estimate the time required for a writing project because completion time […]
I read Lifehacker on the Firefox 3 beta, and as a testimony to how totally unable I am to think for myself when Gina Trapani recommends something, I went and upgraded to Firefox 3. I didn’t just go for the portable version, I went whole hog. Here are some details on my experience.
I’m not sure […]
Running is touted for it’s health benefits all the time, but what about the mental benefits? I think that the fact I took a run last evening is the main reason that I was able to finish my essay on gun control, which I was really not looking forward to writing after a long day […]
