Jarred is the co-founder of Tropophilia, a blog exploring the broad theme of "change." A lot of his writing focuses on web 2.0, social networking, and the intersection of people's physical and virtual worlds and lives. He's interested in the impact of these on the personal level (relationships, habits, health, privacy); on the community level (families, businesses, government); and on the cultural level (traditions, trends). Jarred also enjoys writing about gadgets, science, and politics.

An aspiring attorney, Jarred is currently working as a legal assistant before heading to law school in the next couple of years. When he's not blogging, he enjoys being outside, playing the drums or bass guitar, reading the news and his feeds, and listening to good music.
