Greg Rollett is a Social Media Marketer based in Orlando, FL. His background consists of marketing and advertising as well as a 10 year stint in the Indie Music Business. His newest business and life adventure has been the start of his new company, Rollett Marketing, a Social Music Marketing Firm targeting bands, musicians, small businesses and the Gen-Y fan-base that is changing the way people are buying and accessing music.

Being a true Gen-Y Social Entrepreneur, Greg works a 9-5, performing Social Media Marketing for the Orlando Employment Guide, where he blogs about the job market and creates Online Marketing Campaigns for employers and recruiters who are beginning their move to online recruitment advertising.

Radio is dying. There is more and more syndication of shows and the localization is going right out the window. Here in Orlando we have CBS Radio and Clear Channel and they both pretty much suck if you want to hear ground breaking music.

Gen-Y may not be ready to lead or give advice for a larger audience. The authorities on the web are the people who have the jobs that Gen-Y wants. This is not to say that Millennials do not have a voice that can affect change. It’s just that most of this generation is not ready to be a leader.

We’ll have one mobile phone per child before we ever have one laptop per child. So, ith the rate that Gen-Y, business professionals, and stay-at-home moms are on the go, mobile needs to be in your future business plans.
