Alli Gerkman left the practice of law when it became obvious that she looked more forward to business development and marketing meetings than to the work that waited back on her desk.

She now organizes nationwide continuing legal education conferences and enjoys working with the attorneys and other professionals who make her conferences a success.

She started www.nextgenerationevent.com, which focuses on the future of events, to set the pace in a changing field. Environmental impacts, economic concerns, and an increasingly sophisticated group of attendees are instigating change and Alli believes that through collaboration, technology, and an environmentally-conscious approach, a new generation of events will be born—and they’ll be better than ever.

When Alli is not spending too much time following her news feeds, she loves talking politics, connecting with new people, practicing yoga and running. She was recently appointed to the E-Commerce Board for the American Bar Association – Young Lawyers Division.
